StoryEdit[]

Gateau ordered Kish Ikisatashi to kidnap majorythem in an attempt to distract the other Mew Mews from his real plan, which was to turn all the Red Data animals on the nature preserve island majorythem lives on into Chimera Animas. However, in the end, Gateau was moved by the Mew Mews' support for each other and decided he did not want to be evil anymore. He died with the last Chimera Anima he created.

PowersEdit[]

Gateau has the ability to teleport to different places and create Chimera Anima. His plan in the game was to turn the animals on the nature reserve island into Chimera Animas.

Appearance and PersonalityEdit[]

Gateau has long green hair, the same colour as Kish's. His fringe is long and the back of his hair is plaited and held together with a large purple ribbon. He has golden eyes, which are also the same colour as Kish's, and he wears small square glasses. His skin is light and he has the same large pointed ears as the other aliens. Gateau wears brown gloves up to his elbows and his outfit is purple.

Gateau is described as being aristocratic and intelligent. He is almost exactly as loyal to Deep Blue as Pie, and is the most sophisticated out of all the aliens, always trying to tell Kish to be more "elegant". However, he lets Kish do whatever he wants despite the fact that he is supposed to be serving Gateau himself. He doesn't seem to enjoy working with Kish.

Gateau's appearance resembles Raphael Sorel from Soul Calibur II and Soul Calibur III, mainly because of the clothes they wear. He also resembles Byakuya Kuchiki from the popular manga and anime series Bleach. His aristocratic mannerisms are also like Byakuya's, and they share the same Japanese voice actor (Okiayu Ryotaro Okiayu).

Creation and ReceptionEdit[]

Gateau was created by Takara, the Japanese company which developed and published the Tokyo Mew Mew PlayStation game. Mia Ikumi, who designed the original characters of the series, was pleased with how Gateau turned out.

TriviaEdit[]

He did not appear in the anime or manga series of Tokyo Mew Mew, though Ringo starred in a mini-manga series named Petite Mew Mew.
